How does billing work?
Prices are in US dollars. anycloud home is billed yearly and anycloud hosted monthly, both through Stripe Checkout; we never see your card number. Checkout shows taxes and the exact recurring charge before you confirm. Invoices, receipts and payment methods live in Manage billing on your account page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Open Manage billing on your account page and cancel in the Stripe billing portal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew. When a hosted plan ends, your cloud keeps working for 14 days, then locks with an export link, and is deleted 30 days later; see the terms.
What is the Founders Edition?
The first 25 anycloud home licenses are sold at the Founders price of $499 / year. After that, new licenses are $999.99 / year. Reaching the cap never changes the price of an existing subscription.
How do add-ons work?
Add-ons attach to an anycloud hosted plan: an extra project, or an always-on project that never sleeps. Manage add-ons from your account or directly from your cloud: choose how many you want, see the prorated amount, and confirm. They’re billed monthly with your plan, and your cloud applies the change within a minute.
How is my data kept separate from other customers?
Every hosted project runs in its own isolated space: its own Postgres database, its own sandboxed app containers, and network rules that block traffic between customers. Hosted data is stored in the United States. Your AI provider and domain stay in your own accounts. On anycloud home, everything stays on your hardware. Read the privacy policy for what we collect and why.
Are hosted backups included?
Nightly backups on the same server are included: each project’s database and stored files, kept one a day for 7 days and one a week for 4 weeks, and owners and admins can also back up on demand before a risky change. To recover, they restore a backup into a copy of the project from its settings, check the copy, then swap the copy in, with an undo; the original is never overwritten in place. These backups help undo mistakes. Off-site copies are not included, so a failure of that server can lose both a project and its backups: keep your own copies of data you need. Each workspace can be exported from your account page, and the terms explain what that means.
Do I need my own AI account and domain?
Yes, on both plans. AI is not included in the anycloud price: the builder works through your own ChatGPT or Claude plan (sign in with it in Settings → AI), or your own API key, so OpenAI or Anthropic bill you for that usage directly. Your apps are published on your own domain. Neither is part of the anycloud price.
